Importing Subjects

Subjects can be imported into Microsoft Dynamics CRM. If a hierarchical subject structure is used, import the top level subject names first and then each level in turn.

In the import file include the following columns for the top-level subjects:

• Title, Feature Mask

  
  

and for levels below include the following:

• Parent Subject, Title, Feature Mask

  
  

You must set Feature Mask to 1 for every line, otherwise the subject does not show in the subject tree.
