Portal records not showing in related items

In Unified Interface apps, I noticed that Forum Posts (and some other portal records) do not show in the related items of a parent entity. For example, open a contact, click Related and then Forum Posts. Nothing showed with no error message just white space.

Having logged a support case, it seems that this is a known bug. The fix is to download a solution containing just the affected entity, not selecting entity metadata and just the associated view.

Download and unzip the solution file. Edit the file customizations.xml and make the following changes:

• In the <queryapi> element, delete the text "AUTO" to leave an empty element

• In the <savedquery> element, delete the entire <columnsetxml> element

Then edit the solution.xml file to increase the version number, zip up the solution files and import and publish.
